How Did I End Up Here?

Design Insight

When I spent time at the community centre, I noticed families and young people trying to focus on forms, paperwork, and homework in a space that was always busy.

As a neurodivergent designer, I recognised that feeling in my own body - the way noise, shifting activity, and unpredictable movement can quickly disrupt focus.

That experience shaped my hypothesis: children with learning differences could benefit from something that softens distractions.

Proposal: Limiting distractions
